Top Ten NFL MVP Contenders

There have been en standout players in the NFL this season. The criteria for MVP is the player who demonstrates importance(think Albert Haynesworth), stats, team performance, and news making(good news). Here are the Top Ten Contenders and why they are here(no particular order):

Peyton Manning:Stats, Team Performance, Importance,News Making

Kurt Warner:Importance, Team Performance, Stats

Albert Haynesworth: Importance, Stats, Team Performance

Drew Brees:Stats, News Making

James Harrison:Team Performance, Stats

Adrian Peterson:Importance, Stats, News Making, partially team performance

DeAngelo Willimas: Stats, Team Performance

Eli Manning: News Making, Team Performance, Importance, Stats

Brett Favre:Team Performance, Importance, News Making

Clinton Portis: Stats, Importance

Honorable Mentions:

Tony Romo: News Making, Importance, Stats

Matt Ryan: Team Performance, News Making, Importance, partially stats

Ray Lewis: Importance, Team Performance, Partially stats

This is why these players are here. So here's the question...out of the Top 10..who should be the NFL MVP?  Give your vote and shortly explain why.

Personally, I vote for Peyton Manning because he has decent stats, has guided the Colts to a bajillion straight wins even though they've been injury plagued, and had almost no practice in the preseason and has still performed.

Coach Firing Record?

Just wondering..does anybody know the record for most head coaches fired during the regular season in a single season? Cause I'm pretty sure this is it or is very close to it. So far, out of memory, about  5 coaches that I can think of at the moment have been fired and more are probably on the way. Here's a tracker:

P.J Carleisimo-OKC Thunder

Eddie Jordan- Washington Wizards

Sam Mitchell- Toronto Raptors

Maurice Cheeks- Philly 76ers

Randy Wittman- Minnesota Timberwolves

And the season is barely a quarter over! I can see firings of Scott Skiles, Jim O'Brien, Reggie Theus,Mike Dunleavy and possibly Marc Iavoroni within the next 20 games. That would mean 9 or 10 coaches would be fired at the season's midway point. That's just shocking.

Fantasy College Football Likes and Dislikes

Alright here are the players that have played so far on my fantasy college football team that I like and dislike:

Like:

Mark Sanchez This guy was flat out amazing in USC's first game. If he can produce like this, then he's worth the Round 2 selection I used on him.

Casey James 21 points for a TE in a game? Sounds elite to me. This guy does everything.

Neutrals:

Kenny Britt (hasn't played)

Tiquan Underwood (hasn't played)

San San Te( hasn't played)

Rutgers DST (hasn't played)

Ian Johnson played decent, but it wasn't stellar and it was against Idaho State.

Bryan Anderson same as Ian Johnson. Played decent but was versing Eastern Illinois.

Matt Grothe Same as the former two

Gent Cortez played up to expectations was a no.4 receiver

Jason Harmon didn't play

Mike Teel hasn't played

Dislikes

James Davis My no.2 RB earned a total of...2 points? that's terrible

C.J Spiller I know he's a backup but w/ Davis playing horribly, he followed suite? It was Alabama but still. Despicable.

Overall first week is looking good. I have to earn a combined eight points between Underwood, Britt, Te, and the Rutgers DST to win my H2H mathcup. Thank you for reading this.

Oh and I found this really cool football game. you should try it out.

Most Memorable Sports Game Seen?

What is the most memorable professional or college sports game that you have ever been to?

Mine has to be a Mets-Phillies game in Philadelphia I saw a few years ago. The Mets did lose, but Mike Piazza, my favorite player, hit a home run in the game. I beleive it was Piazza's last year with the Mets.

Another good one I saw was a Rutgers-South Florida College Basketball game I saw at the RAC. With about 20 seconds to go, RU was down 2 with the last possesion. It was a shame that they almost, but didn't quite, hit the game winning three. Still a competitive and exciting game, though.

So I repeat-what is the most memorable professional or college sports game that you have ever been to?

I have Butler, Georgetown, Memphis, and UCLA.

I have a UCLA-Georgetown National Championship.

And UCLA as the National Champions.

Have you ever met/seen a favorite athlete?

In real life, have you ever seen/met a famous athlete? If so, who?

I never have. But I know someone that said they saw Jason Kidd at Six Flags and another person that saw John Madden in NYC.

Who has the Best Moustache Ever in Baseball?

Who has the Best moustache Ever in Baseball? It is a silly question, but there can be some debate over it. The two people that come to mind for me are Rollie Fingers and Keith Hernandez Both were probably known better for their signature 'staches than their playing ability.

So who has the best moustache of all time? Hernandez? Fingers? Or someone else?
